We bowed to his experienced judgment that a second "Man and van" would be needed and the price still sounded extremely modest. And everyone know the old cliché that moving house is "one of the most stressful things in your life". So in for a penny. Anyway, come the day, come the big move, the punctual arrival of a spic and span white van seemed to bode well for the Big Move. What we hadn't bargained on was the sheer, relentless work rate of these guys who moved whatever we asked, where ever we wanted it, without so much as a "blimey, mate, what about break for a cuppa!" or "No way am I moving that bloody sofa through that window!" Nothing was too much trouble, not even the removal of the front window at the new house to facilitate the delivery of the awkward-shaped sofa.

Dear Gary,

We moved on Saturday, as planned, helped by Steve. Your website states clearly that you provide an efficient and courteous service. To be honest, I took such promise with a pinch of salt, and simply thought I would get a fair service. I considered the most flattering parts of your web pages to be a slightly inflated presentation of the truth, as it is often the case in advertising and marketing. Now that the move is done, I wish I was famous enough to give you a meaningful endorsment myself. Steve was exceptional in terms of courtesy, professionalism and stamina. He worked liked I've never seen, lifting alone - and politely declining my help - even boxes I could barely shift (and I am not that unfit!). I quite simply couldn't keep up with him. He did everything with a smile and showed a spontaneous friendly manner throughout. The whole thing was so much unlike the mediocre service and unco-operative attitude I've become used to expect from most workers nowadays that I can only describe it as a jaw-dropping experience.

Quite simply, you do what it says on the tin - or, in your case, website!

Steve arrived 15 minutes early, quickly assessed the contents we needed to move, and we had our entire flat loaded on the van in 45 minutes.
